Window Cleaning Irvine home owner window cleaning tips

I am a window cleaner with Window Cleaning Irvine. I also do the chore of window cleaning at my own home. Even when using professional t-bars, washing pads, I still can get water spots. I wipe the window around the edges when I am done, so this does not happen very often. It is very important to use the right cloth when wiping the window to prevent water spots. When cleaning your windows it is very important to use the right tools, it is very common to see water spots around the edge of the window even after you are done cleaning the widows. The best tool to use for this problem is the micro fiber cloth. The micro fiber cloth with the micro fibers, will clean the edge of the window with out leaving streaks.

When using water fed poles or a deionized water systems for cleaning the windows in high reach areas, it is very important to be sure the water jets are set right on the water fed pole. The water from the pole can shoot out of the pole against the window and this can be the cause of water spots. The water coming out of the jets from the pole should not come out more than a few inches and not spay out. If the water from your water fed pole shoots out against the window you are cleaning, the window will have water spots on it. The water needs to run down the window to clean it and not splash against it.
This can happen even if you’re using a water fed pole and the deionized water seems to be working and testing good. I suggest checking the jet on your brush. Now if you’re a professional and you’re saying to yourself how do I do that; don’t worry, be happy. I am going to tell you. If the water on your brush is shooting out too hard, it will not run down the window correctly and rinse the window properly. This is how the window gets cleaned by rinsing it. The water should be coming out like it was being almost pored out, not spayed out. If it shoots out of the brush too hard, then the jet is too small. Also remember it is very common to get a new pole and it will need to be adjusted to work here in the states because we have more water pressure than where they are made. You can solve this problem by getting a bigger jets from you supply house. I hope this will helpful. Window Cleaning Tustin Home Owner Window Cleaning Tips

Let’s start out with some simple window cleaning tips for home owners here in Tustin. The first thing you’re going to need is some proper tools to do the job. The best tools to use for window cleaning can be purchased at a Professional Window Cleaning supply house. WWW.JRACENSTEIN.COM , so if you’re working on home-improvements on a weekend, you might want to plan ahead to get your window cleaning supplies. Always remember, if you do not have a window cleaning supply house near you, it is very easy to order supplies online. Getting a window cleaning soap that is mixed with water is very important. Don’t settle for something already mixed and this will save you money. Now you’re going to need a cleaning pad and squeegee along with a bucket for water. Also a drop cloth is recommended to protect hard wood floors or carpet from dirty water run off.

When cleaning a two story home, apartment or condo, ladders will be needed. By using extension poles this will eliminate a lot of ladder work. A small extension pole- three to six feet can eliminate some ladder climbing and a larger pole 6 feet and up will make the job easy. Remember, you can also clean the windows on the outside from the inside if they are sliding windows. Most of the time, a sliding window can be popped out from the inside for cleaning. The inside cleaning method can be used to clean the windows from the inside and saves a lot of time and ladder work. Crank type windows, can be cleaned most of the time from the inside as well.

To pop a sliding window out, you push the window into one side of the track and it will give you more space on the other side of the window to pop it out for cleaning. If you have crank open windows and there are a lot of windows side by side, you can open one window, reach out and from the inside and clean the other window. Remember, a lot of times you might need a step ladder to do this.

If you are new at window cleaning and are starting a new business, some of this information will still be helpful for you as well. If you don’t have a water fed pole or deionized water tank, this would be something to work towards because it will cut your time in half. All of us at Window Cleaning Irvine understand cleaning your windows can almost be impossible if you do not have the right tools. So let us share some of our home improvement window cleaning tips.

Always use a T-bar and sleeve washer. The T-bar is the handle the washing pad goes on over. When you have a squeegee that comes in three pieces, it will come with a handle, rubber and channel. Always buy or purchase a T-bar and cleaning pad separately as well. This is for the same reason, so you can get replacement parts.
