I am writing this post for other window cleaners . Helpfully this might help some of you on your service calls.
What I do and this works for me. I give them a prices right over the phone . I ask them how many windows they have,if they don’t Know or if they don’t want to take the time to count their windows ,then we will come out to count and give them an estimate.
We consider this a service call and there is no charge as long as they schedule to get the work done. Remember a window cleaning service call is like any other service call its not free. What I use for an example is if you call out a plumber or an appliance man for a service call if you don’t go ahead with the work there is a service call fee.
We let our customers know this and we are very careful to give good pricing over the phone before we come out to the home. This is a win,win for everybody. Yes,I agree. If you can give the customer pricing over the phone and they have a good understanding of the type of work that is going to be done,then it’s much better for everyone.

This is an light bulb moment since i was once in the window cleaning and pressure washing business. WE always gave a estimate over the phone but never charged just for coming out. I guess you can say we were throwing cash out of the window. I am highly recommending this my associates here
